I just submitted my deviations as prints because of the great feedback I got when I uploaded them. I never actually thought that so many would put them as favourites, but they did, and for that I am very grateful. Thank you! Maybe I'm being a bit too optimistic by thinking that someone might buy the prints but why not give it a shot :) I don't actually have anything to lose on it.

These last few days I've been very busy editing and submitting my photographs. The pictures I've uploaded are from the trip to Tanzania during the Christmas holidays. I spent two weeks there, most of my time in a small country town called Hedaru in the Kilimanjaro region. We, me and my friends, helped out in some of the congregations there and also payed for the construction of a house for a sick man. We helped with the work as much as we could but we also had so much more to do there so we didn't see them finish it and the man moving in. Doesn't matter though, we only wanted him to have a house.

Everywhere we went we were invited to their homes and something to eat or drink. This is something which is very inspiring in Tanzania. Everyone wants to thank you and offer you things, they are so full of hospitality it's almost hard to grasp as a western man. Here in Sweden it's hard to even exchange words with people you meet on the street but there you greet everyone you meet. Everyone. I takes a lot of time just getting across the street because everyone wants to speak to you :) It isn't like this in the big cities, but that is why I prefer the country side when you visit other countries. You get a whole other view of the country and it's culture. In the cities they stopped you to show you their merchandise. In the country, they stopped you and invited you into their homes.

Anyhow, the pictures I've uploaded are all from the trip, many from Hedaru and from the day we went on a safari. One picture is from Sweden and my home town, the one called Barbed Wire. Hope you enjoy them :) Even though I've been a deviantART member for a while now I haven't been very active. So please, comment so that I might get to know some other the artists here, I would very much like to get to know some people :)

God bless ya'll!
